Sauternes - 375ml
Jane Anson: 95/100
This has lovely bitter orange zest with grip and tension wrapped up in luscious perserved lemons and marmalade. Super enjoyable, lifts through the palate, and showcases the pleasures of the vintage. Great quality. 140g/l residual sugar. Lambert des Granges family.
Antonio Galloni - Vinous: 92-94/100
The 2023 Sigalas Rabaud is still taking shape in barrel, yet it possesses notable depth and textural richness, even in this somewhat unsettled state. I especially admire its dynamic energy and overall vibrancy. White peach, jasmine, spice, mint and exotic flowers all grace a Sauternes that is distinguished by its flavor concentration and complexity. Drink 2027-2043.
James Suckling: 92-93/100
This has a sweet spiced-pear, apple-tart and light honey character. Sweet, medium-bodied palate and a salty, spicy finish. Fresh and balanced.
