The estate spans 59 hectares, with 29 hectares dedicated to vineyards that benefit from the exceptional terroir of the region. Known for producing both red and white wines that reflect the elegance and complexity characteristic of Pessac-Léognan, Château Brown has undergone significant revitalization in recent years. Lisa Perrotti-Brown - Wine Independent: 88-90/100
A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot, the medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2023 Chateau Brown is a little shy to start with reluctant notes of cedar and charcoal leading to a core of black raspberries and redcurrants, plus a touch of wild sage. The medium-bodied palate is soft and approachable, with a good amount of pure, red berry flavor and a mineral lift on the finish.

Jane Anson: 92/100
Love the sappy, heel-kicking moreish quaity to the fruit here, and the texture, which gives a slate and pummice drag, balancing out the sweet damson fruits. Continues a fine run at Château Brown, one to look out for. Peony and violet aromatics, plenty of lift. Austerity to the tannins at this early point, with a wave of bitter black chocolate on the finish.
