Château Pape Clément, located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation of Bordeaux, France, is one of the oldest estates in the region, with viticultural history dating back to the 13th century. Named after Pope Clement V, who once owned the vineyard, this prestigious estate produces highly acclaimed red and white wines. Spanning 60 hectares, its vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sémillon. The wines of Château Pape Clément are celebrated for their elegance, complexity, and balance, often exhibiting notes of ripe fruit, floral elements, and a refined minerality. As a Grand Cru Classé de Graves, it stands as a testament to Bordeaux's rich winemaking heritage and excellence.

James Suckling: 97/100
Lisa Perrotti-Brown - Wine Independent: 93-95/100
The white Pape Clement 2023 erupts form the glass with powerful notes of juicy pineapple, green guava, and ripe pears, plus hints of lime blossoms and yuzu. The medium-bodied palate is racy and intense, with a satiny texture and great length.

Jane Anson: 94/100

Pale gold colour, good grip, plenty of rise through the palate, waves of nectarine, peach pit, kiwi, saffron, mint leaf. Has structure and depth through the mid palate, coupled with fresh acidity, and can age. 48hl/ha yield.
